OUR WEDDING 1998
UNDER THE ELM TREE, JUST YOU AND ME!
Maxine E. Durkin to marry David F. Funk on June 12, 1998 at her home. The service will be held at 6:00 p.m. with a buffet reception to follow.

The bride will be given away by her son, Patrick Durkin.

Matron of Honor is Mrs. Lori Maughan.  Best Man is Dennis Boyd.  Both the Matron of  Honor and the Best Man are long time friend of  the couple.  Miss Kori B. Durkin, the bride's granddaughter will be the flower girl and Mrs Durkin's niece, Miss Lydia G. Erdelt will serve as ring bearer.

Officiating the service will be Rev. Barbara Smith of  the Christian Spiritualist Church, also a friend of the Bride.

Mrs Durkin's colors are cream and cobalt blue.  Silk flowers will be used and will be created by a friend of the groom, Mrs Dar Koppes.

Approximately  100  guest  are expected   to   attend 
this gala event  which   will   be   held  outdoors, weather   permitting.  The buffet  dinner  will  be  supplied   by  a  local  cater   and  will   consist    of   salad,   meatballs,   chicken,  baked  beans, jello  and,  of   course,  the  wedding cake, (White cake with a raspberry filling, decorated in cream and cobalt blue)  designed  and decorated by  the catering  service. Guest are expected from Georgia and South Dakota.


My son, the motorcycle policeman, walks me down the aisle on a beautiful late spring day.  A mother couldn't be prouder and happier to have this.  Thank you, Pat!
