Ingredients:
1 medium zucchini
(washed, sliced in strips with seeds removed, or sliced 1/8" thick the length of the veggie.
Batter: 1 egg, 1/2 c flour, 1/4 c milk, you can substitute beer, 1/2 tsp salt, pinch of sugar, 1 tblsp. veg. oil. Mix well to remove lumps, add more flour if batter is extremely runny.
Directions:
Heat deep fryer to hot or grease in a deep skillet. Place battered zucchini slices into deep fryer until golden brown. Carefully, remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain. Lightly season with salt and pepper to taste. Great appertizer or use as a side dish at a summer cook-out!
HINT:
You can try different spices in the batter such as cajan, italian, and even cinnamom!
